Internet Quality Assurance Engineer

We have an opportunity for an Internet Quality Assurance Engineer. In this position, you will be involved in all aspects of software Quality Assurance testing and will be in charge of testing web-user interfaces and usability. This position will interact with Software Developers and Project Managers throughout the software life cycle and will be responsible for bug tracking, test planning and hands-on testing, and problem reporting. You will also be required to reproduce user reported issues and help resolve them as needed.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of software QA testing - automated and manual
• Knowledgeable in web user interface and usability
• Exposure to multiple operating systems and browsers
• Creative and interested in contributing the success of the company and product
• Critical thinker with excellent verbal and written skills
• Experience with testing web-based application with multiple browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc)
• Experience in developing test plans, test cases and maintaining test logs
• Experience in a Web 2.0 environment and/or experience working for a social networking company preferred
• Knowledge of LAMP internal platform
• Solid understanding of front and back-end web technologies including but not limited to HTML, XML, XSL, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Web Services a huge plus
