CommonPlaces Team Celebrates the Launch of Greenopolis.com

May 15, 2008 - The CommonPlaces team celebrated the launch of Greenopolis.com last Saturday aboard the Seaport Elite as they took a Sunset Cruise around Boston Harbor. The event was also attended by members of the Greenopolis team from Waste Management.

Greenopolis.com, a collaborative effort between Waste Management and CommonPlaces, is an interactive and educational web site that allows people to learn, act and be rewarded for making positive environmental changes in their lives and communities. Greenopolis brings individuals, communities, environmental organizations, schools and businesses together to help make the world a greener place.

The event was a great success, and impressions were overwhelmingly positive. "There was amazing food, incredible surroundings and the pleasure of achieving such a huge amount of work in such a small amount of time," said Jenna Taylor of CommonPlaces. "My favorite part of this launch party was sitting back and watching the interaction and enjoyment of this incredible team."
